The historic town of Park City, Utah is enjoying a ski season which will be long remembered, as the 'El Nino' weather pattern brings snowstorm after snowstorm, ensuring skiers of outstanding spring skiing

After the ski season ends in the middle of April, the town's vast array of bars, saloons and restaurants, (as well as a micro brewery and whiskey distillery) become the heartbeat of the town until the summer season eases into gear with golf, hiking, biking. fly fishing and much more.

As well as offering world class skiing and a plethora of summer activities, Park City is world reknown as the venue for Robert Redford's Sundance Film Festival. Perhaps less well known is that Robert Redford retains a permanent presence in Park City in the shape of his superb restaurant, Zoom. Like many of the town's popular establishments, Zoom is located in the Historic District, whose origins lie in the 19th century boom years of silver mining.

A favourite bar of locals and vistors alike , the No Name Saloon, whose slogan is ' Helping People Forget Their Names since 1903' has been voted Park City's best bar for the last three years, No Name is open for hearty food and drink every day of the week – a visit to No Name is a 'de rigeur' for anyone visiting Park City.

The High West distillery and Saloon is the world's only 'ski to the door' whiskey distillery, although walking to the door is perfectly acceptable! As well as delicious food and a superb choice of drinks from the bar, customers can buy High West whiskey from the Saloon shop, including the award winning rye whiskey 'A Midsummer;s Night Dram'.

Throughout the Historic District, bars, restaurants, shops and art galleries ply their trade , and if you look closely you will find an original sidewalk 'Banksy' created during his visit to the Sundance Film Festival three years ago.
