On Top Of The World
Families can whizz along zip lines and scramble through tree tops at 120m above the ground at Saalbach Hinterglemm's High Rope Course. Adventure Awaits
Hinterglemm and neighbouring Saalbach form a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, not excluding families. The region's 400km of marked hiking trails include themed trails such as Montelino's Adventure Trail, along which children can help Little Clown Montelino (Saalbach Hinterglemm's mascot) in search of his lost toys. From the centre of Hinterglemm, guests can access the start of the Berg Kodok Trail (at the top of the Reiterkogel lift), which invites avid treasure hunters to retrieve Montelino's stolen magic cap from a cunning goblin. Ten tricky puzzles and a treasure map help to track down clues. On 17th August 2018 (from 09:00am - 15:30pm), a Children's Party will be hosted at the top of the Reiterkogel lift. Making A Splash
On hot summer days, kids can cool off at the end of Montelino's Adventure Trail and splash around to their hearts' content at Montelino's Water Playground. Water babies of all ages will also love the cold, clean spring waters of Teufelswasser Water World (a small park located 7km from Hinterglemm, at the end of the valley) and its fish pond, wooden playhouse, rock pool, cave path, herbs-of-the-Alps path, and fairy and gnome world.
