It's going to be a dog's life for pampered British pooches this summer, thanks to a pioneering new pets' programme from Eurocamp.

The holiday specialists have just announced plans for a series of 'Dogs Only' pools at more than half of their 180 parcs.

Staffed by trained lifeguards, they'll feature canine waterslides, dog 'sunbeds' and a café providing dog-friendly treats like fresh water and pupcakes.

Eurocamp will be offering puppies free swimming lessons so they can learn how to doggy paddle as well as paw pedicures and a range of health and beauty treatments.

The pools will open for the first time this summer at 95 parcs across Europe, with a select few offering supervised Pups' Clubs - to keep dogs amused while owners relax.
