P&O Australian Resorts celebrated five nominations in the 2nd annual HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence with Bedarra Island taking out the Resort Property Award and Cradle Mountain Lodge winning the Award for Alpine Accommodation.

The 2004 HM � Hotel & Accommodation Management Magazine � Awards, held last night at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, recognised Excellence in the �Art of Accommodation� with some 34 awards presented.

P&O Australian Resorts� properties were finalists in categories including Unique Accommodation (Silky Oaks Lodge) and Hotel Health Club/Day Spa (Silky Oaks Lodge�s Healing Waters Spa and Dunk Island�s Spa of Peace & Plenty).

Lizard Island, winner of the 2003 HM Award for Island Accommodation, was a finalist in the Resort Property Award.

The Australia�s Natural Treasures portfolio was also nominated in one of the HM Awards� Masters categories - Accommodation Chain.
