• Classic movie, cocktail and popcorn for £25 per person in beautiful surroundings of this fashionable terrace
• Season begins with The Great Gatsby on 22nd September
• Competition each night for guests to win after-show drinks at The Bloomsbury Club Bar
This month London's favorite al fresco dining spot, Dalloway Terrace, is prolonging summer nights in the capital, becoming the first restaurant in the city to launch their very own open-air film club. Dalloway Film Club will be launching in conjunction with The Nomad Cinema with a permanent 30-foot cinema screen for guests to don wireless headphones and enjoy an array of classic movies whilst relaxing on the picturesque terrace under the stars. A selection of dishes can be ordered from the new Dalloway Film Club menu, paired with bespoke cocktails inspired by the series of classic films being shown.
The silent cinema screen will launch at 8pm on Thursday 22nd September with an exclusive screening of Baz Luhrmann's award-winningly opulent The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan. Guests will revel in F Scott Fitzgerald's decadent tale of 1920's excess in the luxurious setting of Dalloway Terrace. At £25 per person, tickets include the wireless headphones, a bag of Willy Chase's 'Fit Corn' and a Champagne cocktail served in a coupe, Gatsby-style. The terrace will be well equipped for the impending autumnal weather with heaters and cosy blankets, promising ultimate comfort whatever the weather.
The wholegrain air-popped corn will be available in grown-up, guilt-free flavours, including: Salted Honey, Nearly Naked; and Chase Smoky Bloody Mary. During the screening, guests can snack on the Film Club Menu favourites, including; Crispy salt & pepper squid with chilli and lime, Truffle fries and Wiltshire ham hock monsieur with grape chutney.
Guests will get the chance to enter a competition to win two complimentary drinks in the adjoining The Bloomsbury Club Bar following the movie. Participants will be able to enter simply by taking a selfie with their cinema ticket and posting it on their Instagram account, following and tagging @DallowayTerrace and using the hashtag #Dallowayfilmclub. Each night a winner will be chosen at random by the Dalloway team.
Tickets can be booked via www.whereisthenomad.com/tickets for the following screenings:
Sunday 25th September at 8pm - Tom Cruise's 1988 box-office smash hit Cocktail following a talented New York City bartender who takes a job at a bar in Jamaica and falls in love, but not everything is happily ever after.
Sunday 2nd October at 8pm - Johnny Depp and Juliette Binoche star in 2000's Chocolat, the tale of the mysterious Vianne, her spirited daughter and the effect they have on a small town in 1950's France.
Thursday 6th October at 8pm – Wes Anderson's quirky The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) is an all-star whodunit-style romp across Europe starring Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Saoirse Ronan and Willem Defoe.

Dalloway Terrace is named after the eponymous character created by Virginia Woolf, an author whose name will forever be associated with the area and can be found at The Bloomsbury hotel in the area of the same name. Since opening in March 2016, the restaurant has firmly positioned itself as a top dining destination on the London restaurant scene. Dalloway Film Club will give guest another excuse to visit the critically acclaimed restaurant and will offer the ideal date destination or evening out with a group of friends.
