One&Only Cape Town�s first festive season celebrations offers a variety of activities for visitors and resort guests alike, from luxurious pampering in One&Only Spa Cape Town to an exhilarating run with a personal trainer along the Atlantic Seaboard and from an epicurean experience in the urban resort�s two stellar restaurants; the first Nobu in Africa and Gordon Ramsay�s maze, to one of the most balanced and diverse wine collections on the continent.

Nobu � First Outpost in Africa World-class master chef Nobuyuki �Nobu� Matsuhisa is no stranger to international culinary influences, giving classical Japanese cuisine a contemporary twist. The restaurant is expanding its operating hours this Festive Season with the introduction of a lunchtime menu and will be open for lunch every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 18 December 2009 to 3 January 2010.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the restaurant will serve an Omakase Tasting menu � meaning from the chef�s heart � including a welcome drink, mineral water and a gift for patrons. New Year�s Eve revellers at the restaurant�s first outpost in Africa can look forward to an Omakase dinner, Roederer Champagne on arrival and a party pack, accompanied by DJ and live performances at the adjacent Vista Lounge & Bar and a countdown performance to midnight followed by snacks. The New Year�s Day lunch menu will include a Sake ceremony.

From 19 December 2009 to 4 January 2010 (excluding 24 and 31 December and 1 January) Restaurant Andrew Milne will present Sake Tasting sessions in the restaurant�s upstairs Nobu Bar at 18h00 every day consisting of three Sakes and three different canap�s. The Sushi chef will also present Sushi making demonstration at 15h30 on the same days.

maze by Gordon Ramsay � Michelin Star Tasting Menu Using Local Flavours and Ingredients maze at One&Only Cape Town is modelled on its British namesake, yet the small plates here will evoke the bountiful flavours of authentic South African recipes. Diners are invited to a visual feast in the restaurant�s open kitchen, which is ideal for show grilling and roasting. The kitchen also features an �American� imported broiler, heating steaks to a fiery temperature of 650�C to enhance their flavour - a signature trait of the maze-style cuisine.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the restaurant will serve a five-course menu, including a welcome drink and mineral water. Goodwill Day and New Year�s Day will see the restaurant�s popular Brunch on offer accompanied by live Jazz, whilst the New Year�s Eve dinner will consist of a bespoke six-course menu accompanied by Roederer Champagne on arrival, mineral water, and a party pack. DJ and live performances and a countdown to midnight at the adjacent Vista Lounge & Bar will set the tone for a festive evening which includes midnight snacks.

Corporate Christmas Celebrations One&Only Cape Town welcomes corporate guests to celebrate the festive season in its elegant, state-of-the-art entertainment venues, offering three set menus or a buffet, all of which meet the soaring standards set by the resort�s world-class restaurants.

Isola Pool Restaurant � Casual and Contemporary During the day, guests looking for a more relaxed atmosphere can head to Isola restaurant adjacent to the resort�s 350 square meter infinity-edge heated pool for a combination of island and classic Italian cuisine. On New Year�s Eve this casual outdoor restaurant will serve a buffet Barbeque dinner with at least 35 different dishes ranging from Calamari and Citrus salad with Chilli dressing and Miso marinated Salmon to West Coast Lobster and an array of decadent desserts.

Vista � Laidback Cool or High Energy in the heart of Cape Town Situated in the centre of the lobby at the resort is Vista Lounge & Bar, which as its name suggests, offers incredible panoramic views of Table Mountain. Here, guests can come together to enjoy an � la carte continental breakfast menu, a selection of creative light snacks throughout the day and a spectacular Afternoon Tea with a choice of 35 brews, accompanied by live light Jazz.

In the evening, Vista unveils itself as a sophisticated cocktail lounge serving classic favourites such as the Bloody Mary, Kir Royale, Manhattan, Mojito, Daiquiri, Side Car and Old Fashioned.
