St. Ermin

Following their stay at the four star deluxe Autograph Collection hotel, the talented author and illustrator Rikke Busander along with editor Simone L. Anderson (both from Denmark) created the sweet children's story and sent it to the St. Ermin's, as a thank you. Inspired by the hotel's thriving colony of 350,000 Buckfast Honey bees, located on the third floor 'Bee Terrace' and Executive Head Chef, Alexander Boyd's creative use of the hotel's honey in his menus – 'St Ermin's Hotel: A Bedtime Story For Kids' is a fun and imaginative book, which will be given to all little ones staying at the hotel, as a special welcome gift.

The story is based on main characters 'Teddy' and 'Madelena' who are visiting their 'Uncle Douglas': The troublesome twosome embark on an adventure to find the Hotel's missing Queen Bee, in a bid to help head chef 'Alex' save the liquid gold that he serves to his guests in the award winning Caxton Grill. Featuring beautiful, colourful illustrations of the distinctly individual property with its “fantastic staircase”, pretty Tea Lounge full of sweet afternoon tea treats and of course, the 'Bee Terrace'- home to four of the St Ermin's beehives and London's only Bee & Bee Hotel, the new children's book is available to all little guests from November.

Renowned for it's warm welcome, beautiful interiors, excellent location and welcoming staff; the St. Ermin's has long been family favourite property – offering affordable luxury London breaks with family rooms starting at just £289 per room, per night. www.sterminshotel.co.uk
