Former Australian Wallaby Paul Carozza today chose an unusual venue for a motivational appearance to farewell one of Queenslands top schoolboy Rugby Union teams.
Mr Carozza joined Brisbane Boys College (BBC) Head Coach and former Queensland Reds player Steve Philipotts aboard Airtrain, Brisbanes world-class airport transfer service, as the 39 young men rode from the city to Brisbane Airports International Terminal for the First and Second XV Rugby Union Tour to New Zealand.
During an inspiring professional Rugby Union career, Mr Carozza has played 94 games for the Queensland Reds and represented Australia 15 times on 5 Wallaby Tours. He is currently the Director of Rugby at BBC.
This tour is very important because it is used to select the First XV team who will represent BBC in the coming season, said Mr Carozza.
It is the perfect opportunity for the boys to demonstrate their talent and impress the selectors on a level playing field, as both the First and Second XV sides will each play three games against teams in Palmerston North and Wellington.
According to Airtrain Sales and Marketing Manager Greg Hand, Airtrain was the perfect choice for the school to kick off the first leg of its sporting tour. He said Airtrain had a range of packages to suit sporting groups traveling interstate and overseas.
Sports groups are a large and growing part of Airtrains market, and we are proud to support local sports by providing an easy, convenient and above all very affordable way of delivering teams and their equipment on time and hassle-free, Mr Hand said.
With increasing congestion on Brisbane roads, Airtrain really is the smart airport transfer option because it removes worry about traffic jams and missed flights which can be especially stressful when transporting large groups of people from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Airtrain is also making sports tours to Brisbane and Gold Coast by interstate and overseas teams more accessible and affordable.
Airtrain is a proud sponsor of the tour and wishes the BBC boys every success during the tour and throughout this years Rugby Union season.
While on tour the boys will also attend a Queensland Reds training session and the Super 12 game against the Hurricanes.
Airtrain offers the most competitively priced and frequent airport transfer services to and from the heart of Brisbane City and the Gold Coast and as part of Airtrains commitment to service excellence it has also developed a range of exclusive packages tailored specifically to meet the needs of its passengers.
