August 29 2019: Olympus Australia joins The Travel Bootcamp as platinum sponsor for their upcoming October event.
The announcement comes as Olympus celebrate their 100th anniversary later this year. An enduring technology brand, Olympus have been creating cutting edge camera equipment since 1935.
Professional photographers have shown their support for the well-known brand, joining the Olympus Visionaries (ambassadorship) Program. Notable Olympus Visionaries include: Nat Geo contributing and Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Jay Dickman and photographer and photo educator Joe Edelman.
“Olympus have been incredibly influential in the photography world, they create high-quality, reliable equipment” said Bootcamp co-founder , professional photographer and long-term Olympus visionary, Lauren Bath. “They're a pioneering brand that are always one step ahead of the latest camera technologies,” she added. “We've worked alongside Olympus for many years now and we're so pleased they'll be joining us for our 2019 event.”

The event's continued support from Olympus comes alongside news that global press wire service, TravMedia and holiday rental site, Stayz will be joining this year's list of event sponsors.
The team have also begun rolling out details of their speaker line-up with National Geographic USA's Sarah Polger the first guest-speaker to be announced.
Polger will be joined on stage by well-known New Zealand travel media personality and GoPro ambassador, Kyle Mulinder.
Further announcements are due to come next week.

The Bootcamp curriculum fuses the principles of traditional and new media, delivering best industry practice for travel writing, blogging, photography and Instagram.
Event proceedings will feature industry experts, Bootcamp co-founders: award-winning magazine editor Georgia Rickard, Australia's first professional Instagrammer Lauren Bath and leading female travel blogger Liz Carlson will also take to the stage.
Their Queenstown event is scheduled to take place between Friday October 4th and Sunday October 5th.
