May 2016 /… Oasis Overland launches a brand new 73-day trip called Indochina Encompassed that starts in Xi'an and finishes in Singapore. Traditionally an adventure Overland Company this trip falls into the new range of Oasis tours called 'Regional Explorers' which offer an 'adventure by day, comfort by night' style of travel.

Regional Explorer tours are locally guided tours from 5 days to 73 days travelling in groups of up to 18 people using a mixture of local transport and private minibuses. Accommodation varies from small locally owned hotels and hostels, the occasional night of camping, jungle lodges, local homestays and camps, depending on the location.

Indochina Encompassed - 73 days 

This incredible journey travels from China through Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and finishes in Singapore. Travel from the bustling hilly market lined streets of La Paz to the vast Salt Flats of Uyuni, Venture down a mine in Potosi and stare in awe at the dinosaur footprints in Sucre before we fly to the Bolivian Amazon and enjoy boat trips and walks learning about the flora and fauna of the area.  Swim with Pink Dolphins, fish for Piranha and search the Pampas for an Anaconda!

Incas & Amazon - 19 days including Machu Picchu & Bolivian Amazon 

Experience a mix of the ancient culture of the Andes along with more adventurous and adrenaline induced activities. Karakorum Highlights & Chitral Valley - 21 days

Visit this staggering beautiful and little travelled area of Northern Pakistan. Locally guided and travelling in open top jeeps we journey from Islamabad to the Karakorum and Hindu Kush mountain ranges where we trek to Nanga Parbat base camp and visit the Kalash Valley. Hike to Passu Glacier before heading over the Shandur Pass to Chitral and the remote Kalash Valley. A memory that will last forever!
