26 August 2019: New Zealand travel media personality, Kyle Mulinder, has signed on to join The Travel Bootcamp as MC for their upcoming event in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Mulinder is a well-known NZ travel media personality, content creator and ambassador for GoPro and Ford.
Last year, he gained the attention of the Internet after unplanned video collaboration with GoPro, during a trip with fellow influencers @JarradSeng and @BrinkleyDavies, two-time Olympian, Danielle Scott and Sunrise television personality, Shaun White.
The video went viral after Mulinder was slapped in the face by a wrestling octopus-and-seal duo.
“Kyle is an accomplished travel storyteller with exceptional skill, an incredible network, and a demonstrated understanding of how to build a successful career based on a passion for travel, and a genuine commitment to upholding the integrity of local industry,” said Bootcamp co-founder, Liz Carlson. “He’s also a magnetic, charismatic personality and presenter – a perfect fit for The Bootcamp family.”
Sometimes referred to as New Zealand’s ‘go-to social media guy’, Mulinder is in demand domestically and also globally. He's recently returned from a training summit in Bali with GoPro and is off to the USA in October as a part of Visit California's Digital Influencer Advisory Board, representing New Zealand and Australia. Mulinder has also worked with well-known Australian airline, Qantas.
“I’m stoked to be a part of The Travel Bootcamp team for their first-ever New Zealand event,” Mulinder said of the announcement. “I’ve long admired the work that these three women do for the industry, they promote ethical influencing and conscious travel; two things I’m really passionate about. It’s a great alignment.”
The announcement of Kyle’s involvement as MC comes following The Bootcamp’s newly-formed alignment with TravMedia, who were recently announced as media sponsor for the event.
Further event announcements are expected to be made this week.
