Norfolk Cottages

A converted 1900's signal box, a Grade II listed windmill on Norfolk's inland 'island', Haddiscoe, a former Victorian school are just some of the new listings in Norfolk Country Cottages new brochure, out now.

As Norfolk's largest independent holiday lettings agency, Norfolk Country Cottages new '25th birthday' features nearly 450 stunning holiday homes from across the whole county – North Norfolk Coast to the countryside and Broads - for 2017.

From beach huts to large properties, coastal homes with sea views to country character cottages, town houses to chic city apartments, every one of the family-owned company's properties has been independently inspected and graded by Visit England.

The launch coincides with the news that bookings had increased by up to a staggering 164% year on year in January 2017, whilst bookings over last year were up by 27.5% compared to 2015, cementing Norfolk's place on the UK's staycation map.

New holiday hotspots are also emerging.

“Bookings for Sheringham skyrocketed by 68% during 2016, a trend we've already seen continue with bookings taken in January,” says Lucy Downing, Brand Manager. “It's great to see old favourites return to favour.”

As well as holiday properties, the brochure, which doubles as a lifestyle magazine, showcases some of the county's best loved local champions, like Michelle Jarrold from the iconic and eponymous Norwich department store , 'Jarrolds' and William Galinsky, artistic director of the Norfolk & Norwich Festival. There is also a handy Norfolk mini-guide, with insider tips on what to do and where to go.

This year, the brand, which has offices in Holt and Reepham, has also collated 25 x 25; a list of 25 'insider guides' on topics as diverse as '25 Free things to Do' and '25 Foodie Favourites' to '25 Heritage Finds'. More 25 x 25's will be launched on the website over the course of the year.
