The Ultimate Powder Fix: 'Ready to Heli' Camp - Fernie, British Columbia

The ultimate off-piste adventure, this one week course will teach you all you need to know to master skiing or riding in untouched powder. Taking you from a relative off-piste novice to being dropped at the top of a mountain by helicopter in just one week, this is the first camp of its kind to offer 'Ready to Heli' tuition for skiers and snowboarders over just seven days.

This one week camp combines four days of intensive off-piste coaching from a specialist Nonstop instructor, including  an exhilarating day CAT skiing, gliding through untracked powder. The course comes to a climax with the ultimate adrenaline rush, a day with the prestigious rk heliski in the Purcell Mountain range, famed for its dry and light snowfall and the highest landings in Canadian heliskiing. With the ideal preparation, you will confidently make fresh tracks down some of the finest pristine powder in Western Canada, whether it's on the open glacier runs or through the glades.

Prices start from £1,950pp for the '1 Week Ready to Heli Camp' available to both skiers and snowboarders, based on two sharing. Most guests are solo travellers, who are matched up with suitable roommates. The price includes 7 nights' accommodation on a B&B basis, three evening meals, lift pass for Fernie Alpine Resort, airport transfers and all tuition and activities as per itinerary. New Resort: B.C's Rising Star - Revelstoke

The laid-back vibe and impressive snow record has led to Nonstop introducing its first two week performance camp here for the 2014/15 winter season; offering those keen to improve their skiing or snowboarding the opportunity to spend a fortnight receiving tuition from senior Nonstop coaches.

Sleep Under the Stars in Your Own Snow Cave – Fernie, B.C.

Nonstop is now offering Winter Camping as an optional extra on all three week ski and snowboard camps.  Intrepid adventurers will be offered the opportunity to learn how to build a snow cave before venturing outside the resort boundaries, choosing a spot and building their very own in which to spend a cosy night under the stars, with all gear provided.

Awake with the sunrise the next morning, put on your skis or snowboard and make fresh tracks back down to the resort for a warming breakfast - a truly unique addition to your performance camp experience.

Price for the Winter Camping experience is £60pp, whilst three week ski and snowboard improvement camps start from £3,195pp based on two sharing excluding flights. Camps run from 20 December 2014 until 4 April 2015.

Make First Tracks

Another addition to Nonstop's winter breaks includes new 'First Tracks' experiences on all one, two and three week camps in Fernie. Participants have the opportunity to ride the lifts before anyone else at the resort and make literal fresh tracks in the resort's legendary powder.
