Paresa Resort Phuket (www.paresaresorts.com), the luxurious retreat on Phuket's beautiful Kamala coast, has introduced a restorative yoga, wellness and vitality retreat for 2016. Featuring a combination of reiki, chakra balancing, chi healing, yoga and meditation as well as daily spa treatments and an optional juice diet, it offers the chance for a truly relaxing holiday and is the perfect way to put new year's resolutions into action in a superb setting.
Translated as 'Heaven of all Heavens' in Sanskrit, Paresa Resort Phuket is a luxurious hideaway built into the cliffs of Kamala on Phuket's 'millionaires' mile' and is the only resort on this exclusive stretch of coastline. Central to the resort's ethos is to offer an experience that is in harmony with nature and each of its 48 individually designed suites and villas has breathtaking views over the Andaman Sea. The Spa by Paresa offers a luxurious sanctuary within Paresa, using natural Thai ingredients and products from the resort's own hydroponic garden. It has five treatment rooms where international and Thai therapies are complemented by yoga, reiki and meditation sessions.
Over a three day period, guests can enjoy a dedicated programme which starts with a lifestyle evaluation to get to the heart of the specific challenges each individual is facing. There are daily sessions of Yoga, including both Hatha and Yin disciplines, as well as Reiki, mediation, Chi Healing and Chakra Balancing. Each day also features a different spa treatment, starting with a Dead Sea Salt Scrub and 'Jetlag Legs' treatment to help detox, followed by a Royal Oriental Thai Oil Massage on day two and a Seaweed Body Wrap and Head and Shoulder Massage on day three. The programme concludes with a follow up evaluation and support for any issues. Throughout the programme, there is time for rest and relaxation, as well as healthy breakfasts and lunches with optional juice diets available.
Commenting on the retreat, the resort's General Manager, Dawid Koegelenberg , says 'We created this wellness programme to allow guests to truly retreat from the stresses and strains of their everyday lives. Paresa Resort enjoys an exceptional setting with its incredible views, light, spacious interiors and wonderful gardens. As such it is the perfect location for a rejuvenating, relaxing holiday, enabling guests to completely switch off, unwind and hopefully achieve a feeling of pure calmness and tranquillity.'
