New Winter Spa Break on Lake Garda

Lefay Resorts

Lefay Resort & SPA on Lake Garda has introduced a new two day winter spa break to detoxify and drain the body ready for the winter ahead.

The resort has developed a number of innovative programmes, which combine the principles of Classical Chinese Medicine with Western scientific research.  Lefay Resort's approach is based entirely on a holistic concept, in which the rebalance of the nervous system, nourishment of the spirit and deep relaxation aim to rebalance and rejuvenate the body and mind through the stimulation of the energy points.

The two night winter special offer includes a body scrub using natural local products such as capers, which have antioxidant properties, Lefay's extra virgin olive oil and salt.  The trace elements in the salt regenerate the body, whilst the emollient properties of the oil, which is rich in polyphenols, restructures the skin.

The programme also includes an aromatic hot mud body wrap using mud rich in oils, clays, sulphates and marillonite, which performs an osmotic detoxifying and antioxidant effect.  Guests will also experience a facial cleanse and massage, which stimulates the energy points and a tension relieving neck and back massage to relax the muscles and promote the realignment of the spine as well as a session in the salt water lake - the high temperature allows the body to absorb the trace elements and minerals from the marine salt dissolved in the water, which has a draining, detoxifying and relaxing effect.

Lefay's special winter programme costs £436  (Euros 490) per person for two nights, based on two sharing a room.  The price includes all treatments and breakfast.  It is available until 20 March 2017. www.lefayresorts.com

Lefay Resort & SPA Lado di Garda is set in 27 acres of woodland and olive trees in the Alto Garda National Park overlooking Lake Garda.  The Resort has 21 treatment rooms, five different types of sauna, a salt water lake for flotation therapies and indoor and outdoor swimming pools with spectacular views.  They have developed their own non-invasive Lefay SPA Method, which combines the preventative approach of Chinese medicine with modern Western techniques.

Last month, Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda won the prize for best treatments of the year at the European Health and Spa Awards for two of their Energy Aesthetic Medicine treatments - face aculifting (Farfalla di Seta) and an anticullulite body treatment using acupuncture (Il Fluire del Ruscello).  The Resort was praised for their uniqueness and innovative holistic approach to beauty, which believes that the correct functioning of the whole body is essential to outer beauty.  Earlier this year, Lefay took top honours at the Professional Spa & Wellness Awards by winning the award for Wordwide Health and Wellness Destination 2016.
