The Majestic Malacca, one of YTL Hotels' five-star classic hotels in Malaysia, has introduced its Weekday Special inclusive of accommodation in a Deluxe Room for two, daily breakfast and a choice of either a sumptuous dinner at The Mansion or a relaxing 50-minute experience at the award-winning Spa Village Malacca.
The new Weekday Special is available at a starting price of AUD$210 (MYR550++) per room per night and is available for stays from Sunday to Thursday. This new package is perfect for travellers who would like to explore Malacca's nostalgic city at a leisurely pace, escaping the hustle and bustle of this UNESCO World Heritage site on the weekends.
Travellers who book this package will be able to choose from either a meal at The Mansion or a 50-minute experience at Spa Village Malacca, the world's only spa that bases its therapies on Peranakan cultural traditions. Guests will also be able to enjoy The Majestic Malacca's two-hour-long historical walk that winds through the narrow streets of this centuries-old port city, past picturesque buildings, where craftsmen ply their trade, before finishing at the heart of the historic Jonker Street.
The Majestic Malacca consists of the original Peranakan-style mansion which dates back to 1927 where it was acquired and lovingly restored by YTL Hotels in 2006; the Peranakan-inspired Spa Village Malacca and a ten-storey tower wing which houses 52 guest rooms and two suites. Recently listed among the Top 25 Hotels in Malaysia in the 2014 Traveller's Choice Awards by TripAdvisor, The Majestic Malacca continues to attract visitors travelling for work or leisure.
The Majestic Malacca
Set on the banks of the Malacca River in the historical district of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Majestic Malacca, a 54-room luxurious boutique hotel, provides an experience of another age. Its rooms evoke a luxurious, nostalgic sense of the city's rich history where Dutch, Portuguese and Peranakan Chinese styles merge in a cultural crossroad. From the fine teakwood fittings to the intricate designs of the original porcelain floor tiles, this classic hotel reflects Malacca's unique heritage providing the comfort and romance required by the discerning traveller.
