New visual image of Lake Bled's web portal www.bled.si
Bled Tourist Board has updated the web portal www.bled.si in collaboration with AV studio. This web portal presents the Slovenian alpine gem, (for some even the most beautiful alpine resorts) with a new visualisation, and photos. There are several options for active leisure holidays, extended list of culinary delights and additional options for business meetings.
User of www.bled.si now has all the information and functionality presented for much easier viewing of contents and user friendly booking services. Content is in five language versions and sums over 1.000 pages and over 300 photography which were gathered through photo contests, purchased from various Slovenian authors or obtained from domestic and foreign photo archives.
The aim of the new portal is to improve the online communication of Bled and in a long term increase the number of visits to the web portal as well as in the destination itself. The portal is annually visited by 600.000 visitors and is one of the most visited tourist portals in Slovenia.
Bled is hosting prestigious business conference of the Travel Network Group
Bled is hosting a prestigious business conference of the Travel Network Group between May 17 and 19, 2013.
This is one of the most important events of the UK's largest consortium of independent travel agents who will bring more than three hundred participants working in the UK travel industry to Bled. According to Gary Lewis, director of The Travel Network Group, Bled was chosen because of its boutique and fabulous location, only 2 hours by plane from London and fairly close to Ljubljana and Trieste airports.
Most participants will fly to Slovenia with a special charter flight by Slovenian national carrier Adria Airways.
The event will be a great opportunity for British tourism industry to learn from near Bled and Slovenia as a tourist destination for Slovenian tourism businesses to address the tour and in this way to Slovenia to attract more tourists from the extraordinary potential and a large tourist market it is important for Slovenia, particularly in mountain communities in which British customers are realizing over 60% of all overnight stays.
Participation in the organization of events such as business conferences The Travel Network Group is an important part of promotional activities, but also an indicator that Slovenia is an interesting destination for British agents.
