Ahoy ye scurvy dogs, get yer sea legs this summer at Buccaneer Bay, Newquay. The pirate attraction is newly opened for the summer 2014 and is welcoming landlubbers to experience the mysterious life of the Cornish pirate.
Infamous pirate Anne Bonney is looking for new recruits to join her crew this summer holidays and with Buccaneer Bay positioned just above Towan Beach the family-friendly attraction is the perfect venue for her to begin her search.
Families must take the parley to learn all about life as a Pirate as they explore Prussia Cove, Smuggler's Dens, craggy nooks and Cornish coves on the theatrical Pirate Tour. The interactive performances run throughout the day with story-telling tailored and targeted to all ages and mixed groups.
Children are given a special treasure map with genuine(!) golden coins when they solve the puzzles and all the family will enjoy learning about the legends of Cornwall's mystical past - so watch out for wizards, giants, piskies and spriggans on the way!
Older children and brave youngsters might dare to cross through the Sunken Village of the Damned whilst younger children can opt for the safe passage to join the pirate crew.
Discover the secrets of the smugglers and how they avoided the excise men, and the true language of the pirates with bonefide buccaneers leading the way.
The interactive pirate experience is the new must visit for Cornwall.
