Master Chef Challenges for Minis and Celebrity Style Riders for Little Ones

The Mini Rock Star package includes a kid's suite for up to two children, a 'Junior Master Chef' challenge, unlimited complimentary ice-cream for the duration of the stay, a video showcasing the highlights of the holiday experience to play at home, and the chance for the kids to have a celebrity style rider of 'backstage demands' to the hotel upon arrival.

With the new family package, guests can enjoy an exclusive kid's suite in one of the famed Kata Rocks Sky Villas, which are stacked across the hillside and have ultimate privacy and panoramic views over the ocean. Themed bedrooms are included, with brightly coloured boy and girl décor, all coming with play areas and toys – for an ultimate play-away holiday.

Special daytime activities for the little ones include the Kata Rock's 'Junior Master Chef' challenge, where children from 4 years and upwards take part in a cooking class directed by the resorts Thai executive sous-chef Chef all within the comfort of their own well-appointed villa kitchen.

For budding tastemakers, the Master Chef class takes children on a culinary showcase through the ingredients, techniques and Thai cooking practices. Interactive families can produce their own Junior Master Chef TV show using the hotel's go-pro offering, where guests will have complimentary use for the day and on departure receive a complete film of their holiday in a highlights reel.

Cooling down by the 35-metre infinity pool or in each villa's own infinity lap pool, kids can enjoy a free-flow of homemade ice-cream. Or in-line with Kata's fame as a celebrity hang-out, children can create a rider list, like their favourite popstars asking for anything from colouring pens and paper on arrival to free-flow pop-corn or from a selection of favourite movies.
