New Powder Byrne Adventure Academy for teenagers launching in Crete

Powder Byrne are delighted to be launching their NEW Adventure Academy in Crete for young teenagers to run during the summer holidays in July & August.  Designed to give kids a structured programme of action-packed activities, the PB Adventure Academy will make use  of all the facilities that Crete and our stunning resorts of Porto Elounda and Elounda Peninsula have to offer.

Location

Based at the 5 star resort at the eastern end of Crete near the fishing village of Elounda, our families have been travelling to Porto Elounda for many years.  Having listened to parents about what their older kids would enjoy while on holiday here, we have developed this programme for those who have outgrown the traditional kids club but who wish to try out some new sports and build on skills that they already have. 

Adventure Academy Programme

Powder Byrne's resort staff accompany the kids on all activities and ensure the kids have a relaxed and fun time – they are seen to be more like older brothers and sisters, rather than managers, but safety is always their main priority when the kids are in their care.  For specific sports and activities, we use our own qualified instructors and guides, thus ensuring kids  receive an excellent grounding and maybe discover a sport they will go on to have a life-long love for. 

The PB Adventure Academy offers a variety of adrenaline-fuelled activities throughout the week-long programme.  These to include a variety of the following, depending on weather and other conditions prevailing at the time:

• SCUBA diving
• Watersports
• Go karting
• Rock Climbing & Rappel
• Hiking, including gorge walking
• Mountain biking
• Fishing trips
• Tennis
• Golf
• Jeep safaris

Time will also be given to visiting local attractions such as Spinalonga Island, Elounda Port with some fun lunches in local tavernas.

The Finer Details and Fact Box Price
