New Partnership Brings 'Tourism Vancouver Television' To Hotel Rooms Across The City

Destination Vancouver

VANCOUVER, BC: Following the launch of its new brand identity, Tourism Vancouver has joined forces with signature partner Tourist Information TV (TIN) to re-brand their in-hotel visitor information channel as Tourism Vancouver Television (TVTV).

Were delighted to work with TIN to take our new brand identity out into the community, said Jim Storie, Tourism Vancouver marketing committee chair and board member, and president, Vancouver Trolley Company. It enhances our ability to reach visitors and convention delegates when they are in-market, letting them know all about the exciting things Vancouver has to offer.

TVTV is the default television channel in 16 hotels in downtown Vancouver, and will now sport a newly developed modern logo incorporating the new Tourism Vancouver brand mark and signature four-colour palette. Two plasma screens showing the channel have been installed in Tourism Vancouvers flagship TouristInfo Centre at 200 Burrard Street, while a page offering streaming videos of Vancouver has been added to www.tourismvancouver.com.

This is an exciting time for tourism in this city and were happy to be working with Tourism Vancouver to help them extend their new brand identity and reach visitors to the city, said Gary Turner, president of TIN. By drawing on their dynamic new branding, we can create an information service that visitors know they can rely on for quality information about what to do and see in Vancouver.

Tourism Vancouvers focus is on building exceptional customer relationships with meeting planners, travel influencers, travel media and independent tourists. The organizations brand essence is about exceeding visitors expectations.

Tourist Information TV is a compelling, informative and entertaining hotel TV channel broadcasting from the downtown core of Vancouver.
