St Mary's Inn near Morpeth in Northumberland are delighted to announce that they have been chosen as one of the winners of the Good Hotel Guide Editor's Choice 2016 awards for New Discovery Hotels.
The Good Hotel Guide prides itself on seeking out the top hotels across the country and with St Mary's Inn they have found a real hidden gem in the Northumberland countryside. Opened in November 2014, its first year has been very successful.
The pub has forged many excellent links with local suppliers offering fantastic food and events that have established the property in the local community. Reviews have been extremely positive, just one of the many reasons The Good Hotel Guide has listed the Inn as one of its latest discoveries for 2016.
General Manager Victor Castro-Quiroga – an 'adopted geordie' originally from Chile – says “We have created something very special at St Mary's Inn. A pub with its own character and personality where dining or staying can be a relaxed, informal and friendly experience to savour. We are extremely proud to be chosen as one of the winners of the Good Hotel Guide Editor's Choice 2016 awards for New Discovery Hotels. It is a very well-deserving accolade for the pub and for Northumberland'.
The Editor's Choice 2016 awards, will be celebrated at the Independent Hotel Show, Olympia, on 20th October.
