One of Durban's foremost and leading hotels Three Cities Riverside Hotel & Spa continues its renovation and refurbishment as Phase Three of its rejuvenated and revived fresh look goes ahead on September 15. With 12 rooms in the West wing being completed by the first week of November 2014, this will continue the 15 year old Hotel's renewed look which began on July 16, 2013, with the public area and two mock-up room refurbishments.
Virtu' Designs cc International were the originally appointed Interior Designers and Space Planners on the project with the vision of “creating of an international venue that accommodates maximum use of space with a fresh timeless appeal.” The Project was managed by the Riverside Hotel under the eye of Hotel General Manager Jerod Flaum.
Already a favourite check-in request from guests, completion of Phase Two which ended in May 2014 included:
1) Completing the 28 rooms on the top floor as per the approved mock-up rooms in phase 1
2) The Treble Rooms suites
3) Standard Rooms with a shower in the bath and
4) Deluxe Rooms with showers and a separate bath
During the renovation of the 12 rooms on the third floor, the entire area will be boarded off with minimum disruption to business activities. Most of the noise disruption will be experienced within the first three weeks between 9am-4pm.
