New Look Announced for IMM as 2019 Event is Launched

TravMedia

TravMedia UK has unveiled a new-look for IMM, announcing that next year's show - on 25 March 2019 - will feature dedicated exhibitor stands, an expanded show footprint and a seated lunch.

The leading event for travel and tourism brands to meet the media (http://www.travmedia.com/immuk/) will once again take place at London's prestigious QEII centre.

Participating exhibitors from across the global travel and tourism industry will benefit from fully-equipped stands with a pre-printed graphic. Each stand will contain a table for brands to enjoy up to 28 pre-booked meetings with top travel journalists, editors and broadcasters.

As a single-day networking and relationship-building opportunity for journalists and travel & tourism brands, IMM is unrivalled. The event creates myriad opportunities for exhibitors to discuss their news, events and developments with the media, from the official breakfast through to the after-event party.

IMM 2018 in March attracted over 300 journalists for the first time ever – a worldwide record for the global event – and drew 222 delegates representing 167 worldwide tourism and travel brands.

Over 3900 meetings were pre-booked between media and exhibitors through IMM's Meetings Manager platform, another record.

Media titles attending IMM 2018 were The Times, Daily Telegraph, The Sun, CNN Travel, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, ELLE, OK!, Wanderlust, TTG and Travel Weekly.

Brands making their IMM debuts were African Bush Camps, Chimu Adventures, Cotswolds Tourism, Discover the Palm Beaches, The Royal Yacht Britannia, Tarn Tourism, Grenada Tourism Authority, isango!, Luxury Lodges of Australia, and Namibia Tourism Board.

Said Henry Hemming, TravMedia UK's Managing Director: “Our decision to move to a shell scheme event reflects IMM's maturity. Customers can create a wow factor with their backdrops and can enjoy even greater privacy for their meetings.

“This together with a seated lunch in a new area of the QEII will turn another page in IMM's history. We're looking forward to seeing the story unfold next March.”
