The new program of on-piste carving is designed for skiers who want to really take their turns to a new level whilst enjoying the surroundings of one of the world's top winter sports destinations.
The instructors at Ski Cool, led by Vittorio Caffi, Vice President of the International Ski Instructors Association, are hand-picked for their experience, knowledge and language skills and trained by Vittorio throughout the winter.
The idea of the week is to combine learning with fun and relaxation. Groups will be tailored to ability levels with a maximum of eight people in a group and a minimum of two. The carving course is open to all levels of skiers starting with a minimum requirement of being confident on blue runs and able to handle easy reds. Black run skiers are welcome too, although most of the carving lessons will take place on blues and reds.
The holiday is based at the four star Nira Alpina Hotel, right at the bottom of the Corvatsch ski slopes – the only true ski in, ski out hotel in the area. Accommodation is available on a bed and breakfast basis with a choice of evening restaurants available both within and outside of the hotel. The stay also includes access to the Nira Alpina Spa.
Alina Zaiceva, Head of Marketing and Communications from Ski Cool comments, 'there's many specialist courses for off-piste skiing in the Alps, but not for learning to carve which is really what the majority of holiday skiers want to achieve. We have designed this course for anyone that already enjoys skiing blue and red runs but wants to improve their style and technique on modern carving equipment'.
Ski Cool Price: £1,395 – including 7 nights' accommodation in the 4 star Nira Alpina hotel bed and breakfast on a double occupancy basis, 5 days ski instruction on the carving course with Ski Cool, access to the Nira Alpina Spa, access to further services offered by Ski Cool such as restaurant and non-skiing activities bookings. Single supplements are available – pricing on request.
Ski passes are available to guests at CHF 35 per day (minimum 2 night stay) through the Hotel Nira Alpina (£140 approx. for a 6 day ski pass)
