St Petersburg/Clearwater on the Gulf of Mexico in Florida is looking for twin boost to already impressive visitor number growth. 

Local tourist authorities are welcoming the first new hotel to open in the St Pete Beach area for 30 years. Hotel Zamora is a Spanish-inspired boutique hotel with 72 rooms, a high-end restaurant and rooftop terrace. 

This autumn, St. Pete's own Dali Museum welcomes Picasso/Dali, Dali/Picasso – an exclusive exhibition featuring works from 25 museums and art galleries, as well as from the Picasso family's personal collection. The exhibit opens 8 November and runs for three months before moving to Barcelona where it will be shown at the Museu Picasso.
