The perfect way to celebrate the annual harvest of delicious honey from their very own 350,000 Buckfast Bees, St Ermin's Hotel proudly presents a delightful new 'Honeybee Afternoon Tea', launching this autumn…

Created by Executive Head Chef, Alexander Boyd, the new Honeybee Afternoon Tea menu includes a variety of sandwiches and delicate savoury bites such as honey roast vegetable and salt beef & honey-mustard slaw sandwiches as well as seasonal sweet treats such as ginger & honey macaron and white chocolate mousse with honey sponge and honey caramel. Beelicious treats from the children's menu include a Ladybug Teacake and a Buzzy Bee Lollipop…  Kids will also receive a lovely gardening pack from Mud & Bloom including organic seeds to take home. All teas are served with freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam.

Warner Edwards and their divine 'Honeybee Gin' were a natural fit for helping St. Ermin's to celebrate this special time of year… 'Operation Honeybee' is part of Warner Edwards conservation activity that takes part at the Distillers home - Falls Farm and also at RHS Wisley. St Ermin's have created a gin and tonic jelly with liquorice panna cotta and a sloe gin baba with cinnamon cream using Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin along with the hotel's very own honey to be served as part of the new Afternoon Tea.

To celebrate our buzzy friends in style, the Caxton Bar mixologists have added a new 'Buzzeco' cocktail to the drinks menu concocted with Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin. Add a sweet fruity fizz combination of Prosecco, honeybee gin & honey to the afternoon tea for the JuBEElee price of £10.

Honeybee Afternoon Tea is served daily in the pretty and intimate Tea Lounge or on the lovely Terrace for those sunny autumn afternoons… Children's tea is available during the school holidays and at weekends. 12noon – 6:00pm www.sterminshotel.co.uk
