City Sightseeing Johannesburg & Soweto, which is celebrating its second year of successful operation, has been further strengthened through the appointment of Christine Tworeck as the new General Manager for the area.

Christine, who has been with the organisation since 2009 and was employed in the Cape Town branch as the Operations Manager, has moved to Johannesburg to take up this exciting new role which will see her leading the entire team - managing operations, sales, strategic planning and roll-out, as well as spearheading future growth. In the short time since its establishment in the region, City Sightseeing Johannesburg & Soweto have made many notable achievements, amongst which is the ongoing successful operation of the much-loved Red City Tour which visits a total of 11 stops in and around the CBD; the establishment of the extremely popular Soweto Tour which takes visitors to some of the most exciting culturally and historically rich sites in Soweto; being awarded a coveted place in the Gauteng Signature Collection at the inaugural Lilizela Tourism Awards; and most recently the provision of a 16 language onboard commentary (including a fun kids channel), whereas initially only 10 languages were available.

It is anticipated that with Christine at the helm in Johannesburg the branch will continue to move from strength to strength as she applies her wealth of knowledge, experience and her innovative and results driven approach to City Sightseeing Johannesburg & Soweto. This, coupled with her people orientated management style, ensures that City Sightseeing Johannesburg & Soweto will continue to celebrate many more successful years of operation.
