To coincide with its first anniversary, the 4* MARITIM Crystals Beach Hotel in Mauritius has introduced a number of new facilities and leisure activities for guests.

Second heated swimming pool

For the pleasure and comfort of guests, MARITIM Crystals Beach Hotel has introduced a second heated swimming pool.  Located on the left hand side of the contemporary hotel overlooking the beautiful sandy beachfront, the pool is seven metres wide and 21 meters long.  Heated all year round, it is ideal for guests who wish to swim a few laps of the pool for gentle exercise during their stay.

Free stand-up paddle and complimentary kite surf initiation

Further extending its already extensive watersports offering, MARITIM Crystals Beach Hotel is now offering free stand-up paddle for guests and one free kite surf initiation per guest per stay.  Incredibly popular, stand-up paddle is a fun way to enjoy the calm and gentle waters of the Indian Ocean and is ideal for all ages.  The kite surf initiation takes place on the ground and is delivered on site by the professional team at Kite Globing.

New MARITIM Diving Centre (PADI)

MARITIM has also opened a new diving centre at the MARITIM Crystals Beach Hotel.  Located next to the boat house and Kite Globing Kite Surf Academy, it is a member of the 'Mauritian Scuba Diving Association (MSDA) and is ready to transport guests to underwater adventures.

Teens Club

Complementing the “Ti Dodo” Kids Club is a new club for teenagers which will be known as “The Cube”.  This dedicated area for 13-15 year olds offers activities and facilities of interest to older children including Wii games and tennis table.  A special programme of events has also been created for them under the supervision and guidance of a dedicated childcare professional.

MARITIM is already very well known in Mauritius for its award winning 5* MARITIM Resort & Spa.  Located at Turtle Bay on the sunny North West coast of the island, the hotel is now in its 25th year and is represented by all leading UK tour operators.
