Lefay Resort & Spa is setting itself apart from the competition with the launch of a new luxury three bedroom suite with its own private spa and infinity pool and eco-sustainable design. Overlooking Lake Garda, The Royal Pool and Spa Suite is situated in the grounds of the resort in the Alto Garda National Park but offers complete privacy and exclusivity. The suite has been designed to minimise its environmental impact and aid energy conservation.
The suite’s unique feature is a 55sqm private spa with a treatment area for two, dedicated spa menu, shower with chromotherapy, steam sauna and infrared sauna. There is also a relaxation area and lake-view private Jacuzzi. The resort has developed its own Lefayspa method, which combines classical Chinese medicine with modern western techniques. Guests will receive all their treatments in the privacy and comfort of their own spa.
Overlooking its own private garden with a heated infinity pool, the 600sqm suite has a large living space, dining room seating up to eight people, fully-equipped kitchen, master bedroom suite with walk-in wardrobe and Italian marble bathroom and up to two double bedroom suites for family, friends or security.
The suite has been designed by Italian architect Hugo Demetz (www.demetzarch.com), who originally designed the resort. The contemporary Italian interiors have been designed by Studio Linea Design (www.studiolinea.net), who have worked with many Italian celebrities. The interior design features a mix of European and Oriental style, characterised by contrasting tones of materials, such as wengé wood, the ivory tone of the walls and the colours of the fabrics used inside the suite. Other materials used include local olive, walnut, durmast oak, natural linens and Italian marble.
The suite features furniture from some of Italy’s most contemporary brands and the paintings have been created by the Italian artist Antonio Mazzetti, who has designed the images specifically for each room of the suite.
Suite services include perimeter security system, private chef on request, in-suite check-in, complimentary airport transfers, private concierge, a pillow menu, a private bar area with the finest wines and a free minibar.
The Royal Pool & Spa Suite has been designed according to eco-sustainable principles, in line with Lefay’s core values and philosophy that personal well-being is intrinsically linked to the environment. From the moment the resort was planned, eco-sustainability has been a priority and this has continued with the design ot the suite. Renewable energy sources account for the heating, hot water, electricity and air conditioning, and rainwater and purified swimming pool water are used to water the gardens. The interior design of the suite only uses local, natural materials and locally produced olive oil and home grown herbs and lemons are important ingredients in many of the spa’s treatments.
Lefay Resort & Spa Lago di Garda is set in 27 acres of woodland and olive groves overlooking Lake Garda. There are 21 treatment rooms, five different types of sauna; a salt-water lake for flotation therapies; a state-of-the-art gym and outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The resort combines environmental sustainability, luxury accommodation and innovative wellness programmes including those specifically designed to tackle anti-ageing, anti-stress, postural problems and insomnia.
The Royal Pool & Spa Suite costs from Euros 2,000 for one night with breakfast.
