'Serenity' is not an average narrow boat - comfortable and stylish she offers a fresh, quirky glamping holiday in the depths of Warwickshire's peaceful countryside. She is new to us so still has May Bank holiday availability.
She is particularly unusual because she marries together two seemingly incompatible worlds – those of urban chic, and rural canal. With an uber contemporary interior, she is moored by a Victorian 'chocolate-box' toll house and locks. All in the middle of nowhere, to get here, one has to go off-road and along a farm track over three fields.
At the stern is a small bedroom with cabin style bed all ready made up, and a bathroom. To the bow is the generous sitting / kitchen area with seating, TV, music center and fully-fitted, equipped kitchen.
The boat is moored next to the owner's cute little toll-house cottage which itself has an interesting history. It even has a book written about it with old photo's of them in the garden, they look very happy, we can see why. There is a small garden area with seating and a BBQ to make the most of sunny days and cook outdoors.
There are locks and a small weir nearby, all set in the middle of pretty open countryside.
The local area has some lovely villages with award winning pubs selling real ales and good food, there's an annual beer festival and Stratford Upon Avon is about 30 minutes away.
Please note that Serenity is permanently moored and cannot be moved.
