New Collaboration Announced Between Black Tomato And MR.PORTER.COM As The Partners Launch A Video Campaign 'The Insider Track'

The partnership sees both brands swapping expert advice on how to shop the designer's style, how best to travel the destination and working together to produce some unique and inspiring video features that interview designers and put a spotlight on where they live.
 

The partnership celebrates the merging of fashion and travel, putting the spotlight on some incredible fashion hubs and top travel destinations from around the world.  The partnership sees two award-winning brands, experts in their fields join forces and create a bespoke travel project called “The Insider Track” across both websites.

The first of four videos, due for release in early August, offers an insight into the Los Angeles lifestyle of MR PORTER partner designer Greg Chait and how his label 'The Elder Statesman' has been influenced by this relaxed West Coast living. Taking a unique lowdown on LA from Greg Chait and MR PORTER, Black Tomato's travel experts have in turn opened their little black books and created a trip through California that sees you go beyond the tourist traps and experiencing LA as a native 'Angelono'. The remaining three videos will be released in sequence before the end of 2013 and will introduce MR PORTER designers from Miami, Japan and Scandinavia, with similar trips being 'fashioned' by Black Tomato for each of these destinations.
