Work is progressing well on the new Coastal Pavilions at Freycinet Lodge on Tasmania's east coast, with the environmentally sensitive accommodation taking shape, nestled within the landscape of Freycinet National Park.
The nine pavilions will provide guests with an experience that is elegant in its offering, but also grounded and natural, with curved glass, Tasmanian timbers and tactile finishes. Each pavilion has been built mainly off-site, with the components transported into the Freycinet National Park and custom-fitted to the landscape. Outdoor baths on the deck and separate lounge spaces, both taking in the view, will enhance the guest experience.
We are excited to announce that bookings are now open, with the accommodation available for stays from 15 March 2018. Introductory pricing starts at $799 a night, which includes breakfast for two, a bottle of local sparkling wine and light refreshments on arrival and a Tasmanian nightcap to complete the day. Bookings can be made via www.freycinetlodge.com.au
Designed by a local consultant team led by well-known Tasmanian tourism developer Brett Torossi, the Freycinet Lodge enhancement project will also include the installation of a lift and accessible suite in the main Lodge building, along with six new rooms with floor-to-ceiling views of The Hazards mountains. These are due to open mid-2018.
