Australians are now able to jet off to New Caledonia for a holiday after the country announced it was dropping quarantine requirements and reopening its borders.
The New Caledonia Government and France High Commissioner announced on the 9th March 2022 the lift of the 7-day quarantine for all fully vaccinated* travellers.
Non-vaccinated travellers will still require a compelling motive to travel to New Caledonia and will need to complete a 7-day quarantine on arrival.

Australian travellers will be required to perform either a PCR test valid for less than 72 hours before departure or a Rapid Antigen Test valid for less than 48 hours before departure.
