Awesome Adventures Fiji and Whitsundays have this week launched refreshed brands and new holiday packages for travellers to Fiji and the Whitsundays.
 

Having operated for 15 years, the Awesome brands are well known in the backpacker market but have been relaunched to appeal to a broader range of traveller.
 

Awesome Adventures Oz has been rebranded as Awesome Whitsundays, introducing a new range of holiday packages in the Whitsundays ranging from 1 - 7 nights.  The packages include self-catering accommodation in both Airlie Beach and on Hamilton Island as well as cruises and island hopping passes throughout the Whitsundays.
 

Awesome Adventures Fiji has long provided similar holiday packages that include accommodation at a range of levels as well as touring through Fiji's islands at extremely affordable prices.  This week Awesome Adventures Fiji has launched a new logo, new brochure design and changes to the package names making them less 'suggestive' and more appealing to a broader market. 
 

Awesome Adventures Fiji's charity voluntourism program, Vinaka Fiji, is now in it's third year and was established to 'give back' to the people of Fiji's Yasawa Islands who are living in third world conditions.  Travellers can spend a week or more volunteering their time on sustainable communities, education or marine conservation programs while being based at Barefoot Island Resort in the Yasawa Islands.
 

Ben Southall has hosted a series of events across Australia this week for the companies to launch the new packages and said while the Whitsundays would always hold a soft spot in his heart after being based there for the Best Job in the World in 2009, Fiji was also one of his favourites.
 

"The images of Fiji are your typical island paradise and Awesome Adventures offers something a little bit different to the traditional fly and flop image of Fiji," Mr Southall said at the Melbourne launch event on Monday.
 

"And the Awesome packages in both Fiji and the Whitsundays are so easy to book, with different length holidays at good quality accommodation, and the opportunity to explore the best these beautiful regions have to offer," he said.
 

"The changes that have been made means the Awesome packages appeal to a broader range of traveller rather than the traditional target market of young backpackers."
