Sports extras

Especially for 2014, 14 Haven parks will have BBL training in which British Basketball League professional players will come and teach the children on court skills, ball handling and free throw shot skills. Let the kids take away something memorable from the holiday. Sessions will run during the school holidays on selected parks.

 

There will be a new Aerial Adventure for Devon Cliffs and Hafan y Mor, for even more fun to be had on park! There will also be the new addition of ‘tag rugby’ on some parks, with free mini sessions for 3-5 year olds. Combe Haven, Hastings, will be getting a new sports court and play area.

 

Great Outdoors

Bushcraft, the interactive activity in which guests can learn essential wilderness survival tips such as building shelters and lighting fires, will be extended to more parks, such as Haggerston Valley, Primrose Valley, Thorpe Park and Church Farm.

 

There will be a new Adventure Trail at Hafan y Mor which will also have a cycle and jogging circuit for the more active.

 

Try Haven’s brand new ‘Nature Rocks’ activities. You can choose between a range of activities, from rock pooling, sand sculpture competitions and dam building to treasure hunts and willow weaving. This is only on a selection of parks so ring before you book to find out more.

 

For the pools

Holidaymakers can enjoy a new pool complex, with fun features and paddling areas for the little ones at Burnham-on-sea. Doniford Bay and Lakeland will have new water features or slides, and Allhallows and Church Farm will have new changing villages.

 

Food and Drink

There will some new developments in Haven’s eateries. Seton Sands will see a refurbished bar and restaurant, FunWorks amusements and fish and chip takeaway. Reighton Sands will also see a new beach-themed cafe bar and Marton Mere, Blackpool, will have a new bar and restaurant. Both Kiln Park and Greenacres will get a sweet treat with Millie’s Cookies arriving on park and Kiln Park will also have a new fish and chip takeaway. Hafan y Mor will have a refurbished Live Lounge to make taking in the FunStar shows even more fun!

 

Entertainment

The FunStar team are back with loads of new shows for you. There’s ‘Girls on film’ featuring some of the music from the best chick flicks of the 80’s.

New Panto ‘Aladdin’ will tour all the parks throughout the summer and plenty of new character shows with Haven’s Rory, Anxious and crew.
