South Sea Cruises Fiji Ltd has announced new appointments to its global sales team across its family of brands including Blue Lagoon Cruises, South Sea Cruises, Yasawa Islands Holidays, Awesome Adventures Fiji, Vinaka Fiji and the newest venture, Malamala Beach Club which is due to launch mid-2017.
Alyssa Field has been appointed to the new role of Business Development Manager for New Zealand and North America, responsible for Blue Lagoon Cruises, Awesome Adventures Fiji, Yasawa Islands Holidays and the Malamala Beach Club. Well known to many in the Australasian travel trade, Alyssa comes with over ten years' experience in the travel industry and most recently as Global Contracts Manager for Helloworld Limited. Alyssa will join the South Sea Cruises team on1 May 2017, based in the Auckland, New Zealand office.
Richard Carrick, previously Business Development Manager for Awesome Adventures Fiji has been appointed to the new role of Business Development Manager – Australia, responsible for Australian sales for South Sea Cruises family of brands.
Richard is based in Melbourne and has been with the business for several years. He will also manage the Australia based sales team of Maddy Carse, also based in Melbourne, responsible for Victoria, South Australia, Tropical Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania; and Geli Reichling, based in Sydney, responsible for New South Wales, SE Queensland, ACT & Northern Territory.
Wayne Deed, Director of Sales & Marketing for South Sea Cruises says: “These two new roles and changes in structure better allow our customers to engage directly with all our product and brands in each of the markets and moving forward, aligns a new collective business strategy for us as we look to launch new products into the market mid-2017.”
The new look sales team is looking forward to meeting industry and delegates at Fiji Tourism Expo held at the Denarau International Convention Centre, Fiji on 4 and 5 May 2017.
