New Appointment of Linly Heng

Le Royal Meridien, Shanghai

 

Shanghai - Linly Heng has been appointed the Director of Sales & Marketing for Le Royal Méridien Shanghai and Area Director of Sales & Marketing East China, Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

 

In her capacity, Linly will be responsible for driving the overall sales and marketing strategy of all Starwood brands with over 40 hotels in East China as well as the 761-room flagship hotel Le Royal Méridien Shanghai, where she will also oversee the daily operations of the hotel Sales, Marketing Communications, Online Marketing, MICE, Event & Catering, bringing her expertise to further enhance the hotel's reputation as one of the leading business hotels in China. 

 

Linly Heng brings with her over 20 years of expertise in Sales, Marketing and Catering Management. She joins Le Royal Méridien Shanghai from Hainan Island where she held the dual position of Director of Sales & Marketing at Sheraton Sanya Resort and Area Director of Sales & Marketing, Hainan since 2011. In pursuit of excellence, she has exceeded company, Hainan and hotel KPIs. She was awarded Sales & Marketing Leader –Greater China, at the Asia Pacific S&M Divisional Awards in 2013 and Sheraton Sanya Resort was accorded winner in 6 different categories including Revenue Management, digital revenue and program & channel engagement. Her professional posts also included key positions with Ritz Carlton and Dusit International.

A Singaporean native, Linly is married with two lovely kids. Apart from her commitment for work, Lindy enjoys golf, reading , travelling and mentoring.
