April 2014: Leading activity holiday specialist Neilson has announced the launch of two new Beachclubs for summer 2014; the Andriake Beachclub in Turkey and the Messini Beachclub in Greece. Opening in early May, both properties are five star and offer inclusive activities and watersports.

The new Andriake Beachclub opens on 3rd May 2014 and is located in the unspoilt and as yet undeveloped Demre region of Turkey, an area steeped in history with the tomb of Saint Nicholas, the Ampitheatre of Myra and the 'sunken city' of Kekova within easy reach. With a wide sandy beach, the hotel nestles into the sand dunes and offers an excellent selection of room types, an Olympic size 50m infinity style pool, six tennis courts including one 'centre court' boasting a 300 person stadium, purpose built children's clubs and an impressive spa with Turkish bath and Hamam.  Most rooms also boast sea views.  A one week holiday starts from £645 per person, based on two sharing and a 7th June 2014 departure from London Heathrow with British Airways.

Opening 4th May 2014, the Messini Beachclub is located in Greece's southern Peloponnese and offers a contemporary design as well as the inclusive activities that Neilson guests expect. The resort's vast sailing area provides gentle morning breezes, ideal for canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding and water skiing, followed by moderate afternoon winds that are perfect for sailors and windsurfers. The surrounding area is also popular for mountain biking with a mixture of challenging climbs and easy access to local villages, unspoilt beaches and the medieval castles of Messini. A one week holiday starts from £549 per person, based on two sharing and a 4th May 2014 departure from London Heathrow with British Airways.

For example, we have noticed that tennis is becoming increasingly popular in resort and so at the Andriake Beachclub, we have tripled the number of tennis courts to six, compared to two in some of our other Turkish resorts.

“Likewise, many of our guests are training for events such as triathlons when they stay with us during the summer, so we have doubled the length of our swimming pools to 50m in order to match demand. We are really proud of our new Beachclubs and look forward to welcoming both our loyal customers and new guests this summer.”

Both the Messini and the Andriake Beachclubs can also be combined with a sailing trip for a fantastic twin centre 'stay and sail' holiday which lets guests experience one week at a Beachclub before taking charge of a private yacht and exploring the stunning coastlines of Greece or Turkey.

All Neilson Beachclubs offer flights, transfers and accommodation as standard, as well as all breakfasts, lunches and four evening meals per week.
