Module 4 - Caribbean Module 5 - Hawai'i
Winners announced for first 3 modules More prizes to be won!
NCL's successful online Cruise Academy is in its fourth phase. Modules 1, 2 and 3 contained information on Freestyle Cruising, Alaska and Europe. Module 4 focuses on the Caribbean where NCL sails year-round and Module 5 on Hawai'i where NCL America is the only cruise line to offer inter-island cruising. Both modules will launch on the 16th of December.
NCL has initiated an Online Cruise Academy to help travel agents learn about the fastest growing holiday segment in the industry - cruising - and NCL's unique Freestyle Cruising Cruise & Stay Holidays product.
Then winners of Modules 1 - 3 were: Winner Module 1 (NCL Freestyle Cruising): Alyson Tidbury from the Wombwell branch of Leeds Co-op Travel Winner Module 2 (Alaska): Gabi Birbeck from Rendezvous Travel in Buckinghamshire. Winner Module 3 (Europe): Nina Milton from C.A.S. Travel in Norwich. They have each won a Red Letter Day UK Break package for two, which is a weekend break (either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday) in a twin or double room with dinner and breakfast included, valid in over 45 Marriott hotels nationwide including Edinburgh, Forest of Arden and London.
To date, 517 agents have been trained by NCL's Cruise Academy Online, and this is over and above the ongoing, traditional Cruise Academy, consisting of road show workshops and ship visits.
Nick Wilkinson, Head of Sales at NCL, commented: "As part of our ongoing commitment to the trade, we are constantly looking for new ways to prepare agents to sell the key USP's of NCL's Cruise and Stay Holidays product. NCL appeals to first-time cruisers, because of its relaxed resort-style nature, extending the appeal of these holidays into new markets. In a holiday bracket that is constantly growing, it is a fantastic introduction to cruising and easy for agents to sell, making excellent commission." Each time an agent completes a module they will be entered in to a draw to win a UK break. For every 10-points they collect they will also receive one draw to win one of four cruises. If agents answer questions incorrectly, NCL has provided handy hints to assist, but the more times it takes to complete the module, the fewer points are won.
