EDMONTON, ALBERTA - Navigate Media Group announces its newest campaign for Tourism Jasper. The campaign, entitled #MyJasper, will run over three weekends in January, celebrating 25 years of the 'Jasper in January' festival as well as the 50th anniversary of the premiere ski resort, Marmot Basin.
"Jasper is a true winter outdoors playground, and as the incredibly popular 'Jasper in January' festival marks its 25th year in 2014, it's the perfect time to showcase the multitude of winter events and activities on offer," comments Leigh Abra, Director of Marketing & Brand for Tourism Jasper. "By working with Navigate Media Group, we will highlight Jasper's breathtaking experiences, as well as the diversity of the Festival through genuine, first-person storytelling."
Tourism Jasper will host Dalene and Pete Heck of HeckticTravels.com, Ayngelina Brogan of BaconIsMagic.ca, Sherry Ott of OttsWorld.com, Lisa Lubin ofLLWorldTour.com, Kristen Sarah of HopscotchTheGlobe.com, and Seattle Dredge of SeattlesTravels.com. Each will be invited to participate in events surrounding the 'Jasper in January' festival, hit the slopes of Marmot Basin, as well as experience an array of Jasper's other winter activities. Navigate Media Group will co-ordinate the social media marketing campaign under the direction of Dalene Heck of Hecktic Travels, who herself originally hails from northern Alberta.

Live posts to Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook using the hashtag #MyJasper will allow readers to follow along as it happens, as well as choose some of the activities for the bloggers. In addition to the bloggers traveling to Jasper, other members of Navigate Media Group and the travel blogging community will provide social media amplification of the campaign in real-time. Exclusive content for the Tourism Jasper website and social media accounts will also be provided following the event.
