Children of all ages are invited to delight in story time and visits with special animal friends during Nashville Zoo's Celebrate Reading. This indoor program is scheduled for Fridays in November (Nov. 7, 14, 21) at 10:30 a.m.

This year's Celebrate Reading program features local storyteller and educator Elandriel Lewis leading the program with her unique storytelling style. Books scheduled to be read include:

• • Nov. 7: Why Porcupine has Quills - An Anishnaabe Legend
• • Nov. 14: The Origin of Day and Night - The Legend of Rabbit and Owl - A Menominee Legend
• • Nov. 21: The Rabbit and the Hare

Celebrate Reading takes place at the Zoo's Croft Center and is included with Zoo admission or membership. Stories are geared towards kids ages 3 – 5, but all are welcome. Snacks will be provided by Costco. For more information, please visit www.nashvillezoo.org.
