Cox & Kings is offering savings of 380 on its spectacular new flying safari Namibia From The Sky. Departures between 1 January and 31 March 2004 cost 3415 per person compared to a brochure price of 3795. The same figures also apply to departures between 12 April and 30 June 2004. Prices include all international and domestic flights, and full board (except Windhoek). Also included are a variety of excursions at the lodges. Tours depart on Fridays.
The 10 day / 7 night flying safari allows visitors to see the highlights of Namibia in a short space of time as well as seeing the landscape and animals from a different perspective. Travel is by private light aircraft, and accommodation is in superb 6-star lodges. Group sizes are between 2 and 8.
The tour starts in Windhoek, before exploring the Namib Desert, including the spectacular Sossusvlei dunes, which rise more than 300 metres above the surrounding plains. The tour then visits Swakopmund on the coast of Namibia, for a boat trip, before a flight along the Skeleton Coast and on to Damaraland, home to the rare desert elephant. The tour concludes at Ongava Game Reserve, and a game drive into the famed Etosha National Park.
Louise Stanion, Cox & Kings Africa Product Manager, said, "These are great savings on a very luxurious tour: The groups are small, the guides knowledgeable and the standard of accommodation is amazing. It's the ultimate way of seeing large parts of Namibia in a short space of time."
