The Austrian National Tourist Office invites you to register your interest in a press trip inspired by nature. 16 - 19 June 2016.
Austria is, of course, blessed with a topography that's conducive to exploration - atop mountains, amidst green expanses, or on lakes as clear as they come. And, it's when you step into this space that you simply can't help but be transformed or find retrospect, even if just for a moment.
At a time when social media is seemingly becoming the blueprint of our lives and our over-filled diaries burst with reasons to post and tweet, we hope that own hashtag of #austriantime succeeds in slowing things down a bit. Our newest summer campaign focuses on experiences punctuated by nature to help transform or find that moment of retrospect.
But, we don't want to just tell you about it, we would like to have you experience the potential that Austria's diverse nature offers, the emotions that Austria's scenery can evoke.
The journey starts in Salzburg, where we will experience the city's green oases as we visit the Mirabell Gardens, the Old Town and take a bike tour to 400-year-old Hellbrunn Palace. We will then be guests of the Höflehner Country Spa Hotel, a hiking hotel, where we will learn useful information about wild herbs, their natural properties and about edible wild plants. In the Sölktäler Naturepark we will immerse ourselves in a fascinating landscape, enjoy hikes, regional cuisine and a night in the 'Schönwetterhütte' alpine hut. After four days in Austrian nature we will return, rested and reinvigorated, to Salzburg.
I warmly invite you to register your interest in the my #austriantime international press trip at pressuk@austria.info
