Mum Can Become Miss Marple This Mothering Sunday With Treasure Trails

Treasure Trails

Forget Miss Marple and Jessica Fletcher, Mum can become the detective this Mother's Day (Sunday 31st March) with Treasure Trails.

Super sleuth Mothers will need to put their best detective skills to practice solving problems and unearthing clues on a route around your family's hometown. Get outdoors with Mum and embrace the fresh spring air whilst discovering the secrets of towns, villages and cities across the UK.

Daughters, Mothers and Grandmothers can work together to solve the clues and discover whodunit on this entertaining alternative to the traditional Mothering Sunday walk. Treasure Trails will have all members of the family, young and old, eagerly trying to work out which character is the culprit.

As well as Murder Mysteries there are also Spy Missions and Treasure Hunt Trails to uncover. With more than 1,200 Treasure Trails to choose from across the UK with enticing titles including 'York Chocolate and Sweet', 'The Lost Bells of Aberdovey', 'Pendle Witches', and 'The Clerkenwell Clown Caper', you're sure to find a Trail to entertain the whole family.

All generations can enjoy Treasure Trails and suitable for groups of up to 6 they are a great way for families to bond and find out who was the born detective.

Lasting around two hours, the aim is to solve clues on a circular route of approximately two miles incorporating plaques, signs, statues, monuments, images, engravings or any other unique or quirky features found in the area.

There's a, rarely-used, SMS 'Stuck on a Clue' helpline to ensure no Trail ever goes unsolved and there's also a chance to win £100 if you enter the answer to your Trail online where you can also download free certificates.

Around 85 per cent of the Trails are walking versions but there are also Cycling Trails for adrenaline seeking mums and Driving Trails available if Grandma is joining in on the adventure.
