On Wednesday 27 November, MSC Cruises received the prize for Best Event 2013 in the Company category, on the occasion of the 10th edition of the Italian Best Event Awards 2013.

The award was allocated in relation with MSC Preziosa's Christening Ceremony, held in Genoa on 23 March 2013. During the same ceremony, Piano B, the event agency that worked with MSC Cruises on the "Genova diventa Preziosa" event, came first in the Best Event Awards category and first in the Best Integrated Event Awards category.

The Best Event Awards (BEA) took place at the National Museum of Science and Technology "Leonardo Da Vinci" in Milan (Italy) and are organised by ADC Group. They are open to companies, event agencies, public relation agencies, and associations.

The awards recognise the outstanding level of the event industry and they also increase the recognition of events within the European Communication industry.
