Moulin Rouge Dancers Will Perform In Regent Street To Celebrate The 2008 London To Brighton Veteran Car Run On 1 November 2008

Regent Street is looking forward to the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run International Concourse on Saturday 1 November preceding the 112th London to Brighton Veteran Run on Sunday 2 November. A record one hundred and twenty cars will be displayed on the northbound carriageway in Regent Street between 10:30 and 15:30 making this the largest free to view motoring event. There will be a contra flow will be operating on the South bound carriageway.

This year they celebrate French manufacturers of the pre 1905 period, with over 270 of the 550 cars entered being made in France over 104 years ago. To continue with the French theme there will be two performances by the Moulin Rouge Cancan dancers on the day at 11:15 and 14:00 from the main stage at the Junction of New Burlington Street and Regent Street.

The Phase 5 Steel band will be entertaining the al fresco diners in Heddon Street and Swallow Street from 12 noon � 4 pm to celebrate the occasion.
