Served in the historic, opulent Grade II listed Crystal Ballroom complete with sparkling chandeliers, curved balcony and original white rococo plasterwork, guests will enjoy a beautifully prepared champagne afternoon tea - created by Chef of the Year and MasterChef finalist, Adam Handling – complete with melodic music and live sets from a string quartet during Sunday afternoon.
At £49 per person, the menu includes your choice of Newby of London's award-winning fine teas, a selection of classic finger sandwiches: crayfish & marie-rose sauce, cucumber & cream cheese, beef & horseradish plus smoked salmon & caviar; followed by an enticing selection of freshly baked scones with homemade jam and clotted cream. Then, the icing on the cake - an indulgent assortment of cream & strawberry posset, rhubarb & custard macaroons with red velvet & white chocolate cherry snowballs, accompanied by a glass of fine Laurent Perrier champagne.
Each guest will also enjoy a delicious gift to take home, including a trio of chef's home made macaroons and a 50g caddy of Newby's special St Ermin's blend of fine black tea.
