NOBU Executive Chef Sean Mell and Executive Sushi Chef Araki Kazunari have created an 8-course Nobu Omakase menu inspired by the tradition of gifting mom with flowers, combined with the Japanese art of Ikebana. The menu also incorporates the freshest seasonal produce. As per Executive Sushi Chef Kazunari Araki, “My mother passed away last year, so I am dedicating one of my dishes dish to my mom this year - using her favourite fish and ingredients such as Aji, Katsuo, melon and mango. Executive Chef Sean Mell is highlighting the natural flavour of the products in his hot dishes. Sean recommends trying the main dishes on their own first, then adding NOBU's innovative sauces or salsa to experience your preferred way to best enjoy the flavours of each dish.
To complete the NOBU Mother's Day dinner, our NOBU Pastry Chef Joanna Chan has created - “Mummy Hug”. Every dessert plate is decorated with a hand-drawn sakura motif – each as unique as each mom.
