[November, China] The world's largest mineral springs and spa resort, Mission Hills Haikou, scored the honours of "Best Luxury Spa Hotel" at the recent World's Luxury Hotel Awards and "Asia's Leading Golf Resort & Spa" at World Travel Awards 2013, while Mission Hills Shenzhen was named "China's Leading Golf Resort" at World Travel Awards.

 

As the highest recognition for excellence, the distinguished World's Luxury Hotel Awards and World Travel Awards are acknowledged as the pinnacle of achievement in the global hospitality industry.

In April 2013, the World's Luxury Hotel Awards also named Mission Hills Spa and Volcanic Mineral Springs "Best Luxury Mineral Spring Spa" in Asia, "Best Luxury Resort Spa" and "Best Luxury Destination Spa" in China. The award-winning spa in Mission Hills Haikou is complete with 61 elegant spa treatment suites in contemporary Chinese style, a hydrotherapy zone, spa ritual garden, wellness pavilion, hair and nail spa, reading lounges, retail boutique, a wellness café and health juice bar; offering a comprehensive array of therapeutic spa rituals, and health and fitness programmes. The Volcanic Mineral Springs is home to Hainan's largest natural volcanic mineral springs reserve, drawing pure spring water from 800 meters beneath the ground with a distinctive composition of mineral content. The area comprises 168 hot and cold springs celebrating centuries-old bathing rituals originated from the five continents.

 

Accredited as the world's largest golf club by Guinness World Records, Mission Hills‧Shenzhen is home to twelve 18-hole championship golf courses designed by some of the greatest golfers and legends. Mission Hills · Lan Kwai Fong · Haikou is a strategic partnership between Mission Hills and the Lan Kwai Fong Group. The 240,000 square-meter leisure and entertainment facility features leading bar and dining outlets, an open-air retail shopping complex, exhibitions celebrating ethnic art and cultures, and multi-sensory water shows. Mission Hills · Huayi Brothers · Feng Xiaogang Movie Town is a collaboration between Huayi Brothers, acclaimed Chinese film director Feng Xiaogang and Mission Hills Group. Recreating the retro towns and streets featured in Feng's classic movie sets, the one-of-a-kind establishment transports visitors back to historical China in the 1940s. The establishment will also house a 1,000-seat IMAX cinema, duty free shops, dining and entertainment facilities, as well as active movie studios.

 

Mission Hills Shenzhen will unveil Mission Hills Centerville in the second quarter of 2014. With an overall investment of over RMB 5 billion, the 500,000 square-meter Mission Hills Centreville is the area's only H.O.P.S.C.A.
